The very best way to provide indoor WiFi (for instance, inside a metal building where a Hub's signal won't penetrate) is by using an outdoor AyrMesh product (Hub2n, Receiver, or Bridge) with an AyrMesh IndoorHub. Simply mount the outdoor AyrMesh product outside, run the Ethernet cable indoors to the power supply, and connect the IndoorHub to the LAN port of the power supply. You can also connect an Ethernet switch to the LAN port and connect the IndoorHub to the switch so you can have more Ethernet ports.
It is possible to use a WiFi router for indoor connectivity IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. If you are not familiar with IP subnets and IP addressing, we do not recommend you try this.
If you are confident in your abilities, however, there are two ways to set up a WiFi router: using a separate IP subnet, or neutering the router so it uses the same IP subnet.
