- Make sure the Hub is connected to the “POE” port of the Power Supply
- Make sure the Power Supply is plugged into the wall and the light on the power supply is on steadily (not dim or blinking or pulsing) – if not, plug the electrical cord into the power supply with a bit more force. If that doesn’t work, contact Ayrstone support for a new power supply (or purchase one online).
- Check the Ethernet cable between the Power Supply and the Hub – it may have been damaged during installation. Try connecting the Hub to the Power Supply with a different Ethernet cable, or get an Ethernet cable tester.
- On a Gateway Hub (connected to your router), only the bottom two lights (power and Ethernet) should be on.
- On a Remote Hub, the bottom light (power) and some of the top four (signal) lights should be on (these lights refresh every second). The Ethernet lights will be on if the Remote Hub’s LAN port is connected to a “wired” device.
