See the attached document for more in-depth usage instructions for the AyrScout Camera. It outlines how to have the Camera email or upload pictures, set motion detection, etc.
NOTE: frankly, these settings on the camera are fairly difficult to use, and the motion detection on the camera is rudimentary. In areas where the lighting changes frequently, it may be unusable.
If you are using the cameras for any type of security (i.e. not just as an "extra eye" you check once in a while), we recommend using an external video monitoring system. There are devices (called "Network Video Recorders" or "NVRs" that are dedicated to this sort of monitoring, and there are pretty good programs that can just run in the background of a PC that's on 24x7 that work very well. Two programs we like are Vitamin D and Blue Iris. Of the two, Vitamin D is easier to set up and has better motion detection features, and it runs on both Windows and OSX. Both of them are free to download and evaluate.
Even if you purchase in inexpensive PC to run these programs for monitoring your cameras, it's less expensive than the entry-level dedicated NVR devices.
